Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen starrer Kadhalika Neramillai is all set to hit the big screens soon. Now, the makers put out an official post on social media announcing the release date of the film. According to the announcement, the film will be released in theaters on January 14, 2025.
Along with the release date notification, the makers also wrote the caption, “The more you resist, the more you fall in love! Kadhalika Neramillai will release in theaters on January 14, 2025, unveiling a new look from the film.

The upcoming film Kadhalika Neramillai is a Tamil-language romantic comedy written and directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, wife of Tamil Nadu minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, and was last seen directing the web series, Paper Rocket.
Apart from the lead actors, the film stars Yogi Babu, Vinay Rai, John Kokken, Lal and many more in lead roles. The film also marks Jayam Ravi’s 33rd cinematic venture, in which he is collaborating with Nithya Menen for the first time.
Additionally, the film’s music track and score is composed by AR Rahman, with the makers having already unveiled the songs Yennai Izhukkuthadi and Lavender Nerama.
Furthermore, Jayam is all set to appear in a pivotal role in Ravi Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film, tentatively titled SK25. Directed by Sudha Kongara, the film marks the director’s first collaboration with SK and Ravi.
Since Sivakarthikeyan plays the lead role in the film, it is expected that Jayam Ravi has been chosen to play the main antagonist, while actors Atharvaa Murali and Sreeleela (Tamil debut) will play supporting roles.
The film is said to be the revival of Sudha Kongara and Suriya’s shelved project, which was tentatively titled Suriya 43 or Purananooru.
The film was initially slated to mark the reunion of Sudha and Suriya after 2020’s Soorarai Pottru, starring actors like Dulquer Salmaan, Nazriya Nazim and Vijay Varma in the lead roles. However, due to unknown reasons, the film was shelved, with Suriya moving on to shoot Retro with Karthik Subbaraj.
Apart from Kadhalika Neramillai and SK25, Jayam Ravi is also playing the lead role in the fantasy comedy flick Genie alongside Kriti Shetty, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Wamiqa Gabbi. Additionally, the actor also has a film in the pipeline, tentatively titled JR34.
