Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have been making headlines since they first started dating each other. The Hollywood couple split in July, and Lopez opened up about relationships and kids amid the divorce.
The actress is currently busy promoting her upcoming film, Unstoppable, and in a conversation with Judy Robles, the actress revealed how her portrayal of a mother on screen helped her in real life too.
Referring to Robles’ relationship with her athlete son, Anthony, the actress-singer revealed, “The relationship between you and Anthony, really, for me, informed and became the heart and soul of the movie.”
She further added, “Being a mother and knowing what it means to give the best to your children and putting your best face forward for them at all times. But also as a woman, having to struggle and be successful in relationships and in life.” And taking with you your dreams and your aspirations—and what that means and how that feels, I think that was the biggest thing for me.”
While talking with Lopez, Robles said that it was hard for her to watch the scenes where she portrayed her relationship with her ex-husband.
