Tabla player Zakir Hussain, who died at a San Francisco-based hospital after suffering from chronic lung disease, was buried on Thursday. The tabla legend, also known as ‘Ustad’ by many, Died on Monday. He was 73 years old.

Hussain is survived by his wife, Antonia Minnecola; daughters, Anissa Qureshi and Isabella Qureshi; brothers, Taufiq Qureshi and Fazal Qureshi; and sister, Khurshid Auliya.
