Filmmaker Nag Ashwin gets love from fans in Japan ahead of the release of Kalki 2898 AD
As the much-awaited sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD is set to release in Japan, director Nag Ashwin interacted with fans and expressed his deep appreciation for the tremendous support of the Japanese audience.
Prabhas’s much-awaited sci-fi epic, Kalki 2898 AD, is all set for its international debut in Japan on January 3, 2025. Ahead of the grand release, director Nag Ashwin interacted with his fans in Japan, interacted with the Japanese media and expressed. Excitement for the film premiere.
Nag Ashwin expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the tremendous love and support he received from fans. Sharing the picture on his Instagram story, Nag Ashwin wrote, “All love to you all Arigato Gozaimasu. We’re rarely overwhelmed…but that’s how Japanese love is. Def level (sic).”
The makers shared an exciting video on their social media, in which Nag Ashwin is seen connecting with fans ahead of the premiere. The video was titled, “The show begins at the Japan premiere.”

Prabhas, who was originally scheduled to attend, could not attend the premiere due to an injury he sustained during shooting.
Kalki 2898 AD stars an ensemble cast including Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani. The futuristic action-packed thriller set a significant milestone at the box office, crossing the Rs 1000 crore mark globally following its release. After the success, the makers are now focusing on the sequel.
Meanwhile, Prabhas is preparing for his next film Spirit, in which he will play the role of a cop. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Spirit, made on a massive budget of Rs 300 crore, is expected to take a strong start at the box office.
