Shahrukh Khan’s Jawan was director Atlee’s first Hindi film. The action film became one of the highest-grossing films of 2023. Now, he is a part of another action-packed film titled Baby John starring Varun Dhawan. While interacting with fans on the latest edition of Pinkvilla Masterclass, Atlee said that it is a good idea to come up with the Jawan and Baby John crossover. He also revealed about Jawan 2.
Fans are eager to see what director Kalisz will do with Varun Dhawan in his upcoming action thriller Baby John. The film is an adaptation of the Tamil film Theri by Atlee who is also the co-producer of the film. Speaking to Pinkvilla, the young producer talked about Shah Rukh Khan’s 2023 hit film and Baby John coming up with a crossover.
When a fan suggested the same, Atlee said, “Let me check in with Shahrukh sir today and I think he is the sweetest superstar I know and he has nothing in common. If I ask him, ‘Sir, you have to tweet this,’ he will tweet, ‘Sir, you have to come for the shoot,’ he will shoot.
He further added, “So, I have never taken any favors or any obligations till now. Maybe this gives a good idea. I think I should put this before him.” He further said that he will meet Shahrukh soon so he will discuss the crossover with King Khan.

During the conversation, Varun Dhawan also said that when he started shooting for Baby John, Shahrukh gave him immense love. “He kept saying ‘I will come and dub you. We do this, we do that. (I will come for your dubbing. We will do this, we will do that)’. Whenever I met him, he loved me very much.
Praising the Pathan star, Dhawan said, “He is a very generous personality. He brings such good energy, he gives you such good advice that I would love another chance to work with him and learn from him in that regard. And obviously it will be great to work with him.”
When asked if Jawan 2 is on the cards for him, Atlee said, “There is scope for two in all my films but I have never made one. I think it will take some time. See, God always wakes me up at 4 in the morning and says, ‘Atlee do this.’ So, when he says so with definite consideration, I will come. So, till then I don’t have any answer to it.”
For the unknown, Baby John will hit the big screens on December 25, 2024. The thriller also stars Keerthy Suresh along with Wamiqa Gabbi, Zara Zayana and Jackie Shroff.
