Mukesh Khanna had recently accused Shatrughan Sinha of not teaching him about the epic like Ramayana when Sonakshi Sinha could not answer a question related to it in KBC. Recently, Sonakshi shared her views on this and reminded the actor-filmmaker that it was because of her upbringing that she used to respond to his statements respectfully.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Sonakshi Sinha shared a long note addressing Mukesh Khanna’s comments about her and her father’s upbringing in an interview with Siddharth Kannan. She started by reminding him that the two women sitting next to her in Kaun Banega Crorepati also failed to answer the same question, and not just her.
He wrote, “Let me remind you that there were two women in the hot seat that day who did not know the answer to the same question, but you continued to take my name, and only my name, for reasons that are quite obvious. “

He admitted to being unable to answer and shared that he had a free moment during the show, which is common. However, the actress revealed that the veteran actor did not take this into consideration and chose to criticize her.
Sinha further hit back at Khanna and mentioned an important lesson of forgiveness from the epic which was demonstrated when Lord Rama forgave Manthara, Kaikeyi and Ravana. But she mentioned that she doesn’t need it from him and she wants him to stop rewatching old episodes and criticizing her family as it has become a thing of the past.
Sonakshi finally responded to the Shaktiman actor’s comments on her father Shatrughan Sinha, his family and his upbringing, and reminded him that this is why she politely expressed her views on any derogatory response.
“The next time you decide to say anything about the values my father instilled in me… please remember that it is because of those same values that I have said what I have said so respectfully, when you “I decided to make some distasteful statements about parenting,” she wrote.
The Kakuda actress responded to Mukesh Khanna on why her iconic character Shaktimaan should come back. Giving his own example, he explained how today’s children do not know about epics.
