During the Agenda Aaj Tak 2024 event, actor Varun Dhawan participated in a discussion with top cardiologist Dr Naresh Trehan and liver specialist Dr SK Sareen. The actor talked about his mother’s long battle with bronchitis and asked for advice on maintaining a healthy lifestyle in today’s fast-paced world.

“My mother has been suffering from bronchitis for a very long time,” Varun shared. “Whenever the weather changes in Mumbai, I find it frustrating that I have to take medicine every time,” he told Dr Trehan. Varun is the son of film producer David Dhawan and his wife Karuna Dhawan.

Responding to Varun’s concerns, Dr. Trehan highlighted the importance of simple but consistent exercises like breathing exercises. “At least five times a week, if you can do pranayama, that’s best for you,” he recommends.

Varun also expressed his views on the huge number of health-related trends trending on social media. The actor turned to medical professionals for clarity, commenting, “These days, we get snippets on Instagram suggesting different ways to detox, and everyone behaves like experts.” “Today, when we have the experts, please tell us what good things a person can do to detox their liver.”

Dr. SK Sarin introduced an innovative and practical solution to improve the health of elderly family members. “Buy a balloon worth Rs 10 every day and give it to your grandmother and grandmother.
