Today, on his birthday, I am reflecting on what a gift he has been not only to me but to everyone lucky enough to know him. Yet, whenever he was around me, he would become something else entirely. He exuded the aura of a legend and allowed the child within him to emerge playful, carefree and free from the burden of worldly chaos. He laughed effortlessly, teased with the innocence of a boy, and lost himself in the simplest moments, as if the world beyond us had ceased to exist,” she said.
