Veteran Telugu actor Mohan Babu, 78, on December 9 filed a complaint against his son, Manoj Manchu and daughter-in-law Monica over a property dispute. In his complaint to the Rachakonda police, he mentioned that he feared for his safety as Manoj had hired 30 people who broke into his Jalapalli house when he was in his office in Madhapur. He claimed that his son and daughter-in-law Occupied their house and demanded their eviction.

Calling them ‘anti-social elements’, he wrote, “On 8.12.2024, my younger son Mr. Manoj (who coincidentally left my house and appeared four months ago) along with anti-social elements created disturbance at my house, which was a job. But were. He later left the premises with his wife, Mrs. Monica, and left their 7-month-old daughter in the care of the maid and nanny hired by him.

Describing the events that took place on December 9, he wrote, ‘At 10:30 in the morning, one of my employees in my office in Madhapur informed me that about 30 people claiming to be associates of my son Mr. Manoj had barged into my residence. Came in. They threatened my employees with dire consequences, evicted them from the property and declared that no one could enter the house without their permission.”

Mohan Babu claimed that Manoj and Monica have ‘illegally occupied his house and keep threatening my employees.’

“I fear for my safety, my valuables and my property. I have been informed that these people are waiting for my return home with the intention of causing me harm and creating fear that will force me to leave my residence permanently. I am forced to leave. All these people are anti-social elements and are creating fear and threat to the lives of the people living at my house,” the complaint said.

Mohan Babu said that his son and daughter-in-law planned to take ‘illegal possession’ of his house through intimidation and force. He requested the police to initiate legal action against Manoj, his wife and their associates.
