Ajith Kumar is all set to hit the big screen next year in Pongal 2025 with his much-awaited film Vidamuyarchi. Now, the superstar has completed the dubbing work for the film in Azerbaijan and the makers have made it official with a picture.
In a post on Instagram, the makers wrote, “Ajith Kumar completes dubbing for Vidamuyarchi in Baku, Azerbaijan.” The film’s director Magizh Thirumeni and sound designer were also present with AK in the picture.

This action thriller film starring Ajith Kumar in the lead role has been in the works for a long time. As the film is getting closer to its release date, the makers have also released its teaser, which gives a glimpse of a great action film.
As soon as the teaser of the AK starrer hit the internet, many rumors were spread that the film is a remake of Kurt Russell starrer Breakdown. Additionally, there was speculation that the film was being remade without obtaining the proper rights from the original producers, leading to a legal dispute.
However, according to a recent report, it was said that the claims of a legal dispute against the film are baseless and false. Furthermore, it has also been claimed that the similarities in scenes to the teaser of the American film Breakdown are coincidental.
If you haven’t heard, the movie Breakdown tells the story of a couple on a cross-country road trip when their brand-new car unexpectedly breaks down. A passing truck driver stops to help and offers to take the wife to a nearby eatery, but it soon becomes clear that she has been kidnapped. The film then centers on the husband’s desperate quest to save his wife from danger.
Although the teaser of Vidamuyarchi looks similar to the American film, only time will come to know whether it is a remake or not. Moving forward, Ajith Kumar is all set to hit the big screen once again next year with Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran of Mark Antony fame.
