Actor and social media influencer Prajakta Koli recently faced a difficult question at an event. He addressed his fans during the session ‘From Influencer to OTT’ of Sahitya Aaj Tak held in Delhi on Saturday, 23 November. During the same session, a woman tried to accuse him of teaching young girls about marrying late.

Prajakta, 31, is engaged to her longtime boyfriend Vrishank Khanal and the two are reportedly getting married next year. At the event, the woman asked the popular content creator what is the ‘right time’ for a woman to get married. When Prajakta said, “There is no right time, a woman can get married whenever she wants”, the woman told Prajakta that she was not setting the right standards for young girls.

The Jug Jug Jeeyo star quite politely said that every woman can think for herself and it is her decision. After this, the woman took the example of her daughter and told Prajakta that like her daughter, many young girls insist on getting married late, which leaves their parents shocked.

Then Prajakta concluded his stance on the matter and said to them, “Every girl should get married whenever she feels like it. I will just say this. Be it 31 or 42, get married when you feel like it. the rest you can ask your daughter (Every girl should get married when she wants to. That’s all I want to say. It doesn’t matter whether you are 31 or 42, get married when you feel like it. And the rest is up to you, your daughter.) But you can leave it).”

The crowd at the event cheered Prajakta and expressed their love for the self-made content creator.

The actor also spoke at the same event about fighting trolls, dealing with failures and staying grounded despite all the success. When asked how she deals with critics on social media, Prajakta explained, “I read the comments. But a comment is baseless, if it comes from sheer hatred, if it doesn’t make me happy or make me feel bad.” If it doesn’t make me think, I don’t do it.” I don’t waste time answering it. I am very fortunate to have an audience that spends a lot of energy watching my activities. I haven’t seen any comments yet that have really inspired me.”

The Mismatch star underlined the importance of ‘staying scared’ as an artiste. He told how being scared keeps him stressed and does not allow him to be satisfied with his work. “I’m well aware from day one that whatever opportunities I’m getting are because of the work I’ve done over the years on YouTube. I feel scared sometimes. But, I think that’s how It’s important to be afraid. If I stop because I am afraid, that will be the day I start becoming arrogant,” she explained.

Prajakta has recently become a writer. His new book, which is based on a fictional romantic story, will be launched soon. She told at the event that the book will be available for pre-order from December 5 and she will soon announce its release date on social media.
