A special screening of ‘Chandu Champion’ was held in Delhi, which was also attended by Murlikant Petkar, on whom the film is based. Director Kabir Khan, actor Kartik Aaryan and others attended the screening. Murlikant Petkar was overwhelmed with emotions during the screening.

The screening with Murlikant Petkar and the film’s team was indeed very special as the audience saluted the real champion after watching the film. Kartik Aaryan who plays Petkar in the film captured this precious moment and shared it on his social media. He captioned, “First screening of Chandu Champion with the man himself. An evening full of respect, joy and tears with the real champion, the man who refused to surrender, Mr Murlikant Petkar (sic).”

‘Chandu Champion’, jointly produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan, is set to release on June 14. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film will see Kartik Aaryan in a never seen before avatar.
