Actress Neena Gupta recently revealed that she auditioned for Christopher Nolan’s Tenet. While speaking with Kareena Kapoor on her show, the veteran actor also shared why the audition was not successful.

Veteran Bollywood actress Neena Gupta recently revealed that she auditioned for Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, the role which ultimately went to Dimple Kapadia. During his recent appearance on Kareena Kapoor’s show, the actor shared his thoughts on why the job didn’t work out despite flying to Los Angeles for the audition.
Speaking to Kareena on her show What Women Want, Neena Gupta said, “I auditioned for Christopher Nolan’s film Tenet in Los Angeles. First, I recorded an audition tape here and sent it to them. They compared four other people. With Chose Me Ladies, after all Dimple played the role, she didn’t even go to LA.”
She further added, “I always fail in auditions. Auditions don’t work for me. If they don’t audition me, I get successful, but whenever they do, I get rejected. This is the director’s image of the character, I can’t do anything about it, I thought I would ask Dimple.you didn’t even go there‘(You didn’t go there at all)”
Tenet, directed by Nolan, marked Dimple Kapadia’s Hollywood debut. In a previous interview with Bombay TimesThe actor shared how he initially thought the offer was a prank call and how he eventually got the role.
He said, “I got a call for an audition, which I thought was a prank call. Why would Christopher Nolan want me for this film? Then I was told, he was coming to India, and asked me to audition for it. Requested.” Her.” She further added, “When I got the role, I was nervous, and wondering how to prepare for the role. I told my mother, ‘Mom, your daughter is working with one of the biggest directors in the world.’
