Arjun Kapoor’s sister Anshula Kapoor confirmed her relationship with screenwriter Rohan Thakkar with an emotional post last year, following multiple reports of their budding romance. Since then, both are often seen posting romantic pictures with each other on special occasions. Meanwhile, Anshula recently revealed that it was Janhvi Kapoor to whom she first introduced her boyfriend.
In a recent conversation with Hotterfly, Boney Kapoor’s daughter Anshula Kapoor spoke in detail about her relationship with screenwriter Rohan Thakkar. The star kid revealed that when she turned 29-30, she had asked her family to look for a potential partner for her. During that time she also went on a few dates where she met her current boyfriend.
While the timing was matching, and she was confident about giving this relationship a chance, she broke the news to her sister Janhvi Kapoor. She said, “The moment I was sure I was pursuing this relationship appropriately, Janhvi was the first person Rohan met. She is a very nice, sweet, homely woman but what was more was that “I have the best of them.” Heartfelt interest. That ‘soft launch’ hota hai na, parivar mein soft launch karna tha (I had to soft launch her) and she felt like a safe place to do this,” she said.
Anshula further clarified that her other two siblings Arjun Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor are also her safe haven, but they were out of Mumbai while shooting for their work.
During the same conversation, Anshula also raved about her BF and revealed that he is a “much better” cook than her. She revealed that there is no compulsion that only a girl should cook. The Singham Again star’s sister mentioned that Thakkar has no problem being in the kitchen and cooking for her.
For those unaware, Anshula is the daughter of Boney Kapoor and his ex-wife Mona Shourie Kapoor. Arjun Kapoor is his brother, while Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor are Boney’s sisters from his second wife Sridevi.
Anshula is the founder of Fankind, a Mumbai-based fundraising platform founded in August 2019.
