Amaran box office day 13: Sivakarthikeyan film continues its dream run

Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi’s Amaran remains steady in theaters in its second week. The film has grossed Rs 250 crore worldwide and is now eyeing to create more records at the box office.

Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi’s recent release, Amaran, is doing well in theaters even in its second week. The film, directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, grossed over Rs 250 crore worldwide and is still running successfully worldwide. Amraan had a great second weekend at the box office and earned over Rs 30 crore in two days in India. From Monday (November 11), the film’s earnings are seeing a gradual decline on weekdays, which is expected. Many theater owners claim that shows are running housefull in Tamil Nadu.

The film, based on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan, has been earning around Rs 5 crore in the last two days. According to tracking website SacnilkOn Tuesday, 12 November, the film grossed approximately Rs 5 crore nett in India.

The total 13-day collection of Amraan now stands at Rs 164.45 crore at the domestic box office. Globally, the film has reportedly crossed the Rs 250 crore mark in less than two weeks.

The biographical war film is an adaptation of Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh’s book series, India’s Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes. A chapter in one of the three books details a mission undertaken by Major Mukund Varadarajan.

Jointly produced by Raj Kamal Films International and Sony Pictures Films India, the film stars Sivakarthikeyan, Sai Pallavi, Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Lallu, Sreekumar, Shyam Mohan, Geetha Kailasam, Umair Ibn Latif and many more.
