Ajay Devgan reacts to his viral dance meme, credits Prabhudeva for it
Bollywood star Ajay Devgan has reacted to his viral dance video from the film Action Jackson directed by Prabhudeva.
Action star Ajay Devgan can perform many stunts on screen. However, he admitted that he does not like dancing in front of the camera. Ironically, one of his dance moves in the song ‘Bas Teri Dhoom Dham’ from the film Action Jackson has recently caught the internet’s attention. The actor has reacted to the viral meme in a recent interview and said that the entire credit for it goes to his director and choreographer Prabhudeva.
Speaking to YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia on his podcast, Ajay laughed when the clip of the song was played for him.
Ajay said in Hindi,Prabhudeva was the director of this film. So when the songs came, I said Prabhu, you yourself are a choreographer, I will not do it. so he fingered it (The director of this film was Prabhudheva. So, when the songs came. I told him, ‘You are a dancer, I am not. I will not do those dance moves.’ So he made me do this step).”
Director Rohit Shetty, who was also present at the time, intervened and said, “During Ajay’s time, there was no pressure to prove oneself in terms of dance. Today people have that pressure. It’s all made up. If someone can’t dance, that’s how it will be.”
On the work front, Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgan are riding the wave of success after their latest release Singham Again. This film is earning gold at the box office. Its total collection currently stands at Rs 183 crore domestically. The film was released this Diwali along with Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
The actor-director has also announced Golmaal 5, which will go on floors soon.
