Actress Samantha underlined the importance of choosing roles that reflect ‘proper representation of women in the society’. The actor spoke at Business Today’s Most Powerful Women in Business 2024 event in Mumbai on Friday, November 8. During a session at the event, Samantha mentioned that all her choices represent a part of her. “When I talk about authenticity, it needs to be ingrained in everything I do. I feel very responsible when choosing roles, and I feel that women should be properly represented in society today. Samantha mentioned the series Raj & DK, which also stars Varun Dhawan, and talked about the way he has been portrayed in it. The actor expressed his excitement about playing a similar character in the action genre, which is largely dominated by men all over the world.
