Actor Sivakarthikeyan has talked about his participation in the much-awaited Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring Rajinikanth. Although he is close to the team, he revealed that he will be visiting the film sets soon.

Actor Sivakarthikeyan addressed the speculations regarding his participation CoolieDirected by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring superstar Rajinikanth. In a recent interview with pinkvillaSivakarthikeyan said that, despite his close friendship with Kanagaraj, he is not involved in the project and will not play a cameo role in it.

“I meet Lokesh Kanagaraj often and hang out with him, as well as Maveeran producer Arun Vishwa and director Maddon Ashwin. We are a close-knit group, but I haven’t visited the Coolie sets yet,” he shared. “The shooting is happening right in front of my house, and once I complete the promotions of Amraan, I will plan to go there. However, there is no connection beyond the fact that it is my Thalaivar Rajinikanth film. “I’m not part of Coolie.”

Coolie has already created significant buzz and features an ensemble cast including Rajinikanth, Shruti Haasan, Nagarjuna, Sathyaraj and Soubin Shahir. Recently, rumors spread that Bollywood actor Aamir Khan may play a cameo role. If confirmed, it will mark a reunion for Khan and Rajinikanth, who were last seen together in the 1994 film Terror Hi Terror.

Fans had speculated that Coolie could be a part of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Cinematic Universe (LCU), which includes popular films like Kaithi, Vikram and Leo. However, the director clarified that Coolie will stand alone, saying, “There is no connection with LCU.”

Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan’s latest release, Amaran, is a biopic on Major Mukund Varadarajan directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, starring him alongside Sai Pallavi, Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose and Rohman Shawl. Earning Rs 114 crore domestically after eight days, Amaran has had a steady performance at the weekday box office. With positive reviews since its release on October 31, the film is expected to get a boost in its second weekend. However, it will soon face competition from Suriya’s Kanguva, which will release in theaters on November 14.
