Almost a month after Liam Payne passed away, many people are still mourning, which really shows their love for the singer. An unnamed senior cemetery insider in Buenos Aires told Reuters that on Wednesday, November 6, Payne’s body was moved to the British cemetery in the city for the initial stage of repatriation.
Additionally, it was also reported by People magazine that the National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office No. 14 shared a press release on Thursday that noted that Payne’s toxicology results had come in and his family had been informed. Was.
According to the press release, translated from Spanish, the late singer had “traces of alcohol, cocaine and prescription antidepressants” in his system 72 hours before he passed away.

Sources previously told ABC News that a partial autopsy of the singer revealed that several substances were in his system at the time he died. “Pink cocaine” was one of the substances reportedly found in his system. The press release also stated the arrest of three men charged in Argentina in connection with Payne’s death. One suspect is reportedly a man who “accompanyed” the One Direction alum every day during his stay in Buenos Aires.
The second suspect is the hotel employee who allegedly supplied cocaine to the singer and the third person was an alleged “drug supplier”.
In the press release, prosecutors revealed that any form of self-harm, “and/or physical intervention by third parties” were ruled out as contributing factors to his death.
The forensic doctor reportedly revealed that the death was the result of “multiple trauma” and internal and external bleeding due to his fall.
For those unaware, the Strip That Down singer died on October 16, 2024, after falling from a third-floor balcony while staying at the Casasur Palermo hotel in Buenos Aires. He was only 31 years old.
