Reality TV star and entrepreneur Maheep Kapoor, who was recently seen in Netflix’s Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives, spoke exclusively to India Today Digital about her journey and said it was her daughter and actor Shanaya Kapoor Which inspired him to say yes to the show.

“It is not news that Karan Johar came to us with the idea of ​​making a show on us in flight. Of course, we thought he was joking at the time, but to make a long story short, I was not ready to be on the show. I’m a middle-aged woman and I was very comfortable in my place and my routine with my gym, my kids, my work. Did I really need it or did I really want it, this question was constantly running in my mind. But, then again, it was both my children who gave me confidence. Both Shanaya and Jahaan sat me down and said that this is Netflix and Dharma and I am in such good hands and when such an opportunity has knocked at my door how can I say no, so it was they who took me Gave the go ahead and Maheep said, “You live once, just go do it.”

Maheep also spoke about the reaction of her husband and actor Sanjay Kapoor.

“Sanjay honestly told me only one thing and that was that whenever there is trolling, don’t come running to me and don’t sit on my head. Be prepared. You just be prepared for the worse. If the show doesn’t do well or you face any kind of trolling on social media, don’t come to me. You should be prepared to know how to deal with it.’ I told myself that I am in a very safe place with Dharam and Karan and the entire team as well as all my friends, Bhavana, Neelam and Seema and that inspired me to go ahead and say yes. At that time it seemed that even if we drown together there will be some solace, we are there for each other,” Maheep signed off.
