Ekta Kapoor on Sabarmati report: Not associated with any wing
Producer Ekta Kapoor said that she was not associated with any wing nor did she seek support from any political party or leader while making Sabarmati Report.
Sabarmati Report is all set to release on screens on 15th November. Earlier, a press conference of the film was held in Mumbai. There Ekta Kapoor not only talked about the film but also made it clear that while making the film, she did not take help from anyone nor is she associated with any wing. Emphasizing that he is secular, he also said that the film just focuses on showing the truth and aims to make people aware about the incident that happened in Godhra in 2002.
During the press conference, which was attended by actors Vikrant Massey, Raashi Khanna and Riddhi Dogra along with producer Ekta Kapoor, the team was asked whether they took advice from PM Narendra Modi for the film, as he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat at that time. Of the incident. Kapoor clarified that he neither sought support from PM Modi nor from the government. “I am not attached to any wing. The only wing here is the wing of truth, and this is the flight of that wing.”
