Apple Vision Pro will be available in more countries

The Apple Vision Pro launched during WWDC 2023 has attracted attention worldwide and people who have experienced it often praise it. The virtual reality headset is available in select countries and now the list has expanded. Starting June 28, people in Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore can buy the Apple Vision Pro. Australia, Canada, France, Germany and the United Kingdom will be added to this list on July 12.

About VisionOS2

For the past few days, it was being said that Apple would make important announcements regarding VisionOS, the software that powers the Apple Vision Pro.

Apple said VisionOS 2 will be available as a free software update in the autumn of this year. This means VisionPro users will get access to more features and their overall experience will be better.

Upcoming features for VisionOS 2 include a way to turn photos into 3D memories, intuitive hand gestures for easily accessing Home View and important information at a glance, new capabilities for Mac Virtual Display, Travel Mode, and more.

It was also announced during the event that the App Store now has over 2,000 apps designed for Apple Vision Pro. In addition, there are over 1.5 million compatible iOS and iPadOS apps.

Using Vision Pro, users will also be able to explore thousands of games, including over 250 titles with Apple Arcade. Popular immersive games like Job Simulator shine on Apple Vision Pro, allowing players to simulate different professions, such as a gourmet chef or store clerk, using their eyes and hands. Players can also access iPad and iPhone games, PC and console games, and even more games on Mac using apps like Steam Link – all of which are compatible with the PlayStation DualSense and Xbox Wireless controllers.

Additionally, Apple Vision Pro also introduced Apple Immersive Video, a storytelling format that puts viewers at the center of the action by leveraging 3D 8K video with a 180-degree field of view and spatial audio.
