Amul issued a public advisory on X (formerly Twitter) urging customers to be aware of fake Amul Ghee packaging. As per the advisory, Amul revealed that they have switched to “duplication proof” carton packs for ghee to prevent adulteration. “This is for your information that counterfeit and counterfeit Amul Ghee is being packed and distributed in the market by some unscrupulous agents,” the guidelines said. The advisory said, “Amul has stopped manufacturing its 1 liter refill ghee packs for more than three years and has switched to duplication proof carton packs.
