Actress Anjini Dhawan made her big screen debut with Binny & Family. The actor received praise for his acting in the film, which also starred Pankaj Kapur and Himani Shivpuri. Even before making her debut in showbiz, Anjini was signed to work in Salman Khan’s film Sikandar. In an exclusive conversation with India Today Digital, Anjini reacts to the news of her being in Sikandar, her family’s reaction to Binny & Family and her desire to work with brother Varun Dhawan.

When asked about the news of her signing Sikandar, the actress told us, “Is that so? Can I?”, before she laughed and said that she had come fully prepared (to avoid such questions). When Anjini was asked about her family’s reaction to her first performance, she revealed that Everyone was emotional.

Anjini’s cousin and Bollywood star Varun Dhawan was with Anjini during the trailer launch of the film. Anjini described it as an “emotional” moment for her. “I needed him that day,” he said. I was so scared. That was the day I was most nervous. After facing the media for the first time, I was everywhere that day.

Elaborating on his and his family members’ reaction to his performance, Junior Dhawan said, “I think everyone in the family was very emotional watching the film. They all came out crying.”

Finally, when Anjini was asked about the list of actors she has worked with, she said that she wants to work with everyone. However, when asked to name names, she said, “I want to work with Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Vikrant Massey.” Of course, I want to work with Varun BrotherI think we will have a lot of fun in the film together. I think someone should make that movie.
