Actor Vikrant Massey is in advanced talks to star in an international thriller inspired by the life of global spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

The news was confirmed by the production house when they claimed that Vikrant is an ideal actor to play the lead role in the upcoming project.
“Vikrant Massey is one of the most versatile actors working today and the makers felt he would be ideal to play the lead role. When Vikrant was offered this role he was also very excited and was very grateful that he was considered for it. Talks between the actor and the producers are in an advanced stage,” said a source close to the production house.

The film is inspired by the extraordinary life of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, a global spiritual leader and humanitarian known for his unwavering commitment to peace. It will highlight Gurudev’s crucial role in resolving Colombia’s devastating 52-year civil war, and emphasize his non-violent approach to ending the conflict.

The source added, “The film will be made in English and Spanish and will be made for a global audience; It will be dubbed in various international and Indian languages. It focuses on how one of the world’s greatest internal conflicts was resolved by Ravi Shankar with the help of ancient Indian wisdom. The supporting cast and crew will consist primarily of acclaimed and Academy Award-winning people from Los Angeles, USA and Colombia. Apart from this, renowned filmmakers will also present this big budget ambitious film in different countries.

The upcoming film will be produced by Siddharth Anand and Mahavir Jain. The source said, “This ad has been written by ace director and writer Montu Bassi and he will be assisted by international screenwriters and script doctors. He did research for about four years. Interestingly, Vikrant Massey had also met Sri Sri Ravi Shankar some time back.

The film aims to continue this message by reflecting the Indian philosophy of “One World One Family” and Gurudev’s commitment to non-violence.
