2024 will be over in a few months and brands are preparing to refresh their flagship phones to give people better options. It’s that time of year again when you can expect to see new flagship models from companies like Vivo and iQOO. The Vivo X200 series has already been launched in China and will likely come to India later this year. Similarly, iQOO 13 will launch in China in late October 2024 and then reach Indian shores. iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya has shared multiple teasers on the X, confirming the India launch of the iQOO 13. Here’s everything you need to know.

India launch of iQOO 13 confirmed, when will it be released?

As of now, there is no India launch date for the iQOO 13, but the company is expected to confirm it in a few weeks as it has started teasing some of its features. A report by SmartPrix recently claimed that the iQOO 13 will arrive in India on December 3, but nothing has been confirmed yet. This may be true as the iQOO 12 was also launched in early December.

iQOO 13 design confirmed

The design of iQOO 13 has already been revealed. It looks similar to the iQOO 12 smartphone, with minor changes in the design part. On the rear panel you will see the same square camera module which will have three sensors. But, the new version also has an LED strip around the module, which makes the device a little more attractive. Its functionality is unknown at the moment, but it is likely to notify users about notifications or calls.

The second change is the placement of the LED flash. It is now located inside the rear camera module. The rest of the design language looks the same as the previous version. iQOO has launched the iQOO 13 in China in four colors, which include green, silver, brown and white. The same color model is expected to be launched in India also.

iQOO 13 features, specs confirmed

Qualcomm has launched its Snapdragon 8 Lite chipset and iQOO has confirmed on its social media channels that its next flagship phone will pack the same chip. It is also confirmed to have a 6.82-inch 2K display, which will refresh at 144Hz. It is expected to run on the latest Android 15 OS out of the box. Under the hood, it will have a 6,1250mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging technology. As always, you can expect to see a fast charger in the retail box of the iQOO 13.

It has dual speakers and a massive 1016H motor for haptics. The upcoming iQOO phone is also confirmed to have a heat dissipation system with multi-layer graphene and a 7K ultra-large VC heat spreader. At the moment, there is no official information on the camera part. The leak claims that the iQOO 13 may have a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel 2x telephoto shooter. The phone may have a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies.
