Chef Neha Deepak Shah has shared the video of this easy hack on her Instagram page. In the video she explains that if you use saffron in this way, you will get a bright orange color and a wonderful aroma. Neha also shared that she learned this hack from chef Vikas Khanna during her time on MasterChef Australia. For the hack, start by placing saffron threads between tissue paper or foil. Fold it well making a square shape. Fry it on low flame for about a minute, make sure to fry it from both the sides. – Now put the saffron threads in a mortar and pound them well. If you are using them for sweets then add some milk and mix well.
