Kerala politician Ramesh Chennithala, who is a Member of Parliament, met actor Suriya at the New Delhi airport on October 21. He shared some pictures of their conversation at the airport. He praised actor Surya’s Jai Bheem and described him as a person with social responsibility. Suriya was promoting his upcoming film Kanguva for the last few days. On October 21, he promoted the film with Disha Patani and Bobby Deol in New Delhi.

Written and directed by TJ Gnanavel, Jai Bheem is a legal drama released in 2021 on Prime Video. The film is about police brutality, caste injustice and police bias.

Currently, Suriya is busy promoting his upcoming film Kanguva directed by Siva. Touted as a pan-India venture, the film will release in theaters on November 14. The promotions of the film began in Mumbai and then continued in New Delhi.
