Kaley Cuoco reflects on one of her most famous roles and the iconic show that brought her to fame in the industry. Cuoco played Penny on The Big Bang Theory for 12 years. If the actress is given a chance to do it all again, she will gladly accept it. In an interview with People Magazine, The Flight Attendant star shared that her time working on the sitcom was the happiest year of her career.
Kelly starred in TBBT with Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kunal Nayyar, Simon Helberg, Mayim Bialik, and Melissa Rauch, among other actors who played cameo roles.
Meanwhile, the actress further revealed in the interview that she is very grateful to the show as well as the makers of the CBS show. Cuoco explained, “I spent 12 years playing that role, and it really launched my career. I’m very grateful to that character, that show, to (creator) Chuck Lorre.” He added, “These were some of the best years of my life, and some of the most fun I ever had.”
Cuoco’s character, Penny, was paired with Galecki’s Leonard Hofstadter. The pair remained in an on-and-off relationship throughout the show’s run. However, at the end of the series, the two get married, and Penny announces her pregnancy.

When asked if she would play the character again, Cuoco immediately replied, “I would absolutely play that role again.” She added, “I love that character and I always will.”
Meanwhile, The Big Bang Theory was a sitcom watched by fans of the actors across the country. The show revolves around a group of science enthusiasts who understand life through love and career.
The CBS series won 10 Emmy Awards over 12 seasons and was picked up for the spin-off Young Sheldon, which aired on the network for seven years.
As for upcoming projects, Cuoco is set to star in Season 2 of the Peacock series based on a true story. Talking about her upcoming show, the actress is excited for the audience to watch season 2.
He said, “We had a great time shooting Season 1, and I think we’ve made Season 2 even better. It’s so much fun. It’s so dark… and I’m thrilled.”
The Big Bang Theory is available to stream on Max, and season 2, based on a true story, will stream on Peacock starting November 21.
