In addition to playing Donald Trump, Alec Baldwin once again made his mark on the latest episode of Saturday Night Live. It was none other than Brett Baier of Fox News. The episode made fun of a recent interview between the journalist and Kamala Harris.

In the SNL episode broadcast on October 19, after the introductions, Harris, played by Maya Rudolph, says that “happiness” did not belong to any of them.

Baldwin, in character, says that when he interviewed President Trump, his first question was about the important problems the country is facing, but to him, Byrd’s question was about the exact number of “killers.” It was about those whom he had left in the country.

The two go back and forth, laughing and joking, not letting each other finish their sentences, which is what the actual interview shows. In a post in the sketch, Rudolph asks if she can finish what she was saying. To which Baldwin says that he was asking him to do so. Rudolph responded by telling him that he would have to listen to him.

Baldwin then responded by saying that he could not speak because he was speaking. After this she asks when he will stop. Then he says maybe when he goes to bed.

The spoof also references the Vice President’s real-life prosecution of international cartels. In the sketch, Rudolph K. Harris says that if she had been in Breaking Bad, the show would have ended in just three episodes.

Later in the sketch, Baldwin’s Byrd accuses Rudolph’s Harris of insulting the former president’s supporters by saying, “Are they fools? Loose jaw? Stump-humpers? Cross-eyed meatheads? She responds by saying that he was trying very hard to get her to say something that was “bad”.

After accusing Trump supporters of calling them fat, he asked them to move on. He asks, “So you’re not denying that they’re fat?” To which she replies “Oh, my dear God!”

He says she looked “very sexy” when she was angry. To which she admits that she did it.

The sketch later ends with Baldwin’s Byrd asking Rudolph’s Harris why the public should vote for him. But as soon as she tries to answer, he keeps cutting her off. Later, she sighed and asked if, before leaving, she could say what she had been trying to say the whole time.

Rudolph proceeds to deliver the iconic SNL line, “Live from New York, it’s Saturday Night!” The episode, marking its 50th season, has been well received online, with fans expressing appreciation for the return of talented actors such as Baldwin and Rudolph.
