Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra won the hearts of the audience with their chemistry in the 2021 film Shershaah. Fans of this real life couple are eagerly waiting for them to come together again on screen. It looks like his wish is about to be fulfilled. They are reportedly in talks with Maddock Films to collaborate on a love story.
According to a recent report in India Today, Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra have started discussions with Maddock Films for a love story. Although plot details have not been revealed yet, reports suggest that it will not be a typical Bollywood love story.
The portal’s source said, “There is an interesting twist and a new element to this love story. It will have a mix of romance with fantasy elements.” The source said that Maddock is making an interesting new film for the audience.
Sidharth Malhotra played the role of Captain Vikram Batra in Shershaah, while Kiara Advani played the role of his girlfriend Dimple Cheema. The biographical war film directed by Vishnuvardhan was released on Amazon Prime Video.
Earlier in 2024, during a fan segment in an exclusive interaction with Pinkvilla, Sidharth Malhotra was asked about working with Kiara Advani in another love story. In response he said, “It’s up to the directors and filmmakers to ask.”
Talking about the love for Shershaah, Sid expressed, “We are very happy with the love we got for that film (Shershaah), even though the love story was a very small part of that film. The movie barely had 12 minutes or 15 minutes, but I think the real-life love story of Captain Vikram Batra and Dimple also looks really good.
The actor said, “We would love to make a full-fledged love story. It’s just up to us to find the right material and the right script.”
Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra also has the action thriller Race 4 in which he will face Saif Ali Khan. Kiara Advani is currently shooting for War 2 with Hrithik Roshan and will also be seen in Don 3 with Ranveer Singh.
