Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Preity Zinta are two Bollywood divas who enjoy the love and admiration of their many fans. While many people are fans of her beauty and talent, some are also crazy about her soft-spoken, polite and cheerful personality. But during a recent interaction, popular TV and film actor Rushad Rana recalled that he was looked at ‘right’ by her.
Speaking to Siddharth Kannan, actor Rushad Rana, popular for playing important roles in TV shows like Anupama and Kumkum Bhagya, shared his experience of working with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Preity Zinta. During a candid conversation, he said that during the shooting of Mohabbatein with Aish, he did not have any conversation with the beauty queen. “He decided to take a good look at us. Preity Zinta had done the same during Veer Zaara also. He is alright; What can you do? You can’t exactly say ‘hi’ to people who choose to ignore you,” he shared.
In the same interview, he also told how Shahrukh Khan and Rani Mukherjee made him feel. Rana played a small role in Shahrukh Khan’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi directed by Aditya Chopra. When he went to shoot his part he was surprised when King Khan remembered him fondly. After this he told that he had shared the screen with Rani in the popular TV show ‘Kehta Hai Dil’. She was also pleasantly surprised when the Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway actress told her that her mother was a fan of her work.
The Sanam Teri Kasam actor further added that at that time, he was doing a popular and hit show called ‘Kehta Hai Dil’, which Rani and her mother used to watch. She recalled, “She said to me, ‘I admire you, TV guys. How do you manage to deliver one dialogue after another?’ I remember that conversation very well and she was very warm during the entire shoot.” Rushad Rana has also worked with many stars in films like Sarkar, Door, The Xpose, Calendar Girls etc. He played the role of Pakistan’s PM Shehzad Alam in Sudhanshu Saria’s espionage thriller, Uljhan.The film stars Janhvi Kapoor, Roshan Mathew, Gulshan Devaiah and Adil Hussain.
