Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh recently suffered a back injury during her workout. On his Instagram stories, he updated his followers, revealing that he has been in bed for the past six days and is expected to recover in about a week.

On October 5, while doing an 80 kg deadlift without a back brace, Rakul experienced back cramps. Despite the injury, he continued his workouts and work commitments, which only worsened the pain. On October 10, just before his birthday, the pain became severe, forcing him to undergo strict bed rest.

The actress shared a health update in her Instagram story and said, “I did something very stupid, I didn’t listen to my body. I had cramps in my body; kept straining it and it turned into a big injury.”

“I have been in bed for the last six days and I think it will take about another week for me to fully recover,” he said.

Although he is hopeful of a quick recovery, he admitted that it is difficult for him to ‘let down and relax’. Rakul used the moment to share an important message: “Please listen to your body when it gives you signals. Don’t try to push.”

He also said, “I used to think my mind was stronger than my body, but it doesn’t always work that way.” Grateful for the supportive messages she received, she reassured fans, “I will come back stronger.”

Rakul Preet Singh was last seen in Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan and Sidharth, directed by S Shankar. She will next be seen in Indian 3, which is currently in post-production, and De De Pyar De 2 alongside Ajay Devgan and R Madhavan, which is still under production.
