Actor Gary Oldman’s Slow Horses renewed for sixth season

Gary Oldman’s Slow Horses has been renewed for its sixth season. The upcoming season of Slow Horses, based on the acclaimed novels by Mick Heron, will see Gary Oldman reprising his role as the unconventional and chaotic Jackson Lamb.

Lamb leads a team of MI5 rejects, known as the “Slow Horses”, consisting of River Cartwright (Jack Lowden), Roddy Ho (Christopher Chung), Louisa Guy (Rosalind Eleazar), and Catherine Standish (Saskia Reeves) are included.

Kristin Scott Thomas also returns as MI5 Deputy Chief Diana Taverner, alongside a stellar cast including Jonathan Pryce, Amy-Fionn Edwards, Ruth Bradley, Tom Brooke and Samuel West. Previous seasons of the hit series have seen guest appearances from actors such as Hugo Weaving, Joanna Scanlan, Soap DiRisu and Olivia Cooke.

Season 6, which will consist of six episodes, follows the story of a team of runaway misfits who get caught up in a high-stakes game of vengeance and retribution instigated by their maniacal taverner.

The season is to be adapted by co-executive producer Gabe Chiappe, with Adam Randall, who directed season 4, returning to direct the latest installment.
