The makers of Bigg Boss Kannada Season 11 received a police notice on Monday, October 14, regarding the violation of privacy of the female contestants. The Kumbalgodu police issued the notice following a complaint by the Karnataka State Commission for Women, which raised concerns over a controversial act. On the show.

The issue involved the ‘Heaven and Hell’ task of the show hosted by Kiccha Sudeep, which was aired in a recent episode. As part of the task, the contestants were divided into different sections, some of which were placed in a prison-like setting. The complaint filed by the Women’s Commission highlighted the potential breach of privacy in a multi-camera environment, especially in relation to female contestants. It also expressed concern about the inadequate facilities in the jail-like rooms, including lack of proper food, hygiene and overall treatment of the contestants.

The Commission argued that the conditions the female contestants faced violated their dignity and privacy. Karnataka Women’s Commission Chairperson Nagalakshmi Choudhary has promised a thorough investigation into the matter.

Responding to the complaint, Kumbalagodu police requested the organizers of the show to appear for questioning. The police have also sought unedited raw footage and audio from the episode featuring the controversial act. He warned manufacturers that failure to comply with the investigation could result in serious legal consequences.

The police stressed the need for complete transparency from the show organizers and warned that strict action would be taken if privacy concerns were ignored.

The incident has sparked widespread debate among both viewers and executives, raising questions about the ethical boundaries of reality television. The working conditions and treatment of contestants, especially women, have drawn considerable public scrutiny.

Police have recorded the statements of five female contestants who were locked in the ‘Hail’ side during the controversial task. According to our sources, the female contestants denied any human rights violations and told the police that nothing was imposed on them without their consent.

As of now, the makers of Bigg Boss Kannada have not issued any official statement in response to the police notice or the allegations made by the Women’s Commission. Meanwhile, the content managers have removed the ‘Heaven and Hell’ situation from the task and asked the contestants to return to the traditional way of living in the house.
