Fardeen Khan, who is making a comeback in Bollywood, recently revealed about his father Firoz Khan. The actor shared that he never told his father, who is battling cancer, how serious his disease was. Fardeen also revealed that his father’s wardrobe is ‘exactly the same as he left it’ even after 15 years of his death.
In a recent interview with GQ India, Fardeen Khan talked about his father Feroze Khan’s stage 4 cancer and his last days. She revealed, “My sister and I, as his primary caregivers, made a very conscious effort not to tell him. We never told him how serious it was. Fardeen said that he did not want to lower their expectations.
The Heeramandi star mentioned that her father had a ‘larger than life personality’ at home too, which made it difficult for her to see him in a vulnerable state.
Regarding Feroz Khan’s wardrobe, Fardeen said, “His wardrobe is exactly the same as the one he left after his death 15 years ago.” He said he hasn’t been able to touch any of his belongings, including shoes, belt, robe, hat, socks and more. Fardeen said that he is planning something for his father’s fans to honor his legacy.
Earlier in September 2024, Fardeen Khan had shared a special post on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Firoz Khan. In an emotional note, he and his sister Laila remembered their father, saying, “It’s been 15 years without you, and though time has passed, your presence is deeply felt in the lives of those you never got to meet.” Didn’t get a chance. The caption continued, “They live with the stories of your greatness, your strength and your timeless charisma. On the work front, Fardeen Khan was recently seen in the comedy drama Khel Khel and the crime thriller Blast. She is all set to star in Housefull 5 alongside Akshay Kumar and other actors.
