Al Pacino recalls his near-death experience during the COVID pandemic; It is claimed that his ‘pulse was gone’

Al Pacino recalled the near-death experience he had during the pandemic due to extreme COVID infection. In a conversation with The New York Times, the veteran actor took a look at the chaotic situation that arose when he was lying in his living room with no pulse.

The Hollywood star claimed that doctors and nurses were constantly trying to revive the actor, while his family members were also present.

The Godfather actor told the media outlet that he was given steroids after being found infected with coronavirus in 2020. The decrease in his pulse rate was caused by a side effect of the medications he was taking.

The actor explained, “It was like—you’re here, you’re not. I thought, wow, you don’t even have your memories. you have nothing. Strange porridge.”

He further said, “What happened, I did not like – not unusual, not good. Then I got a fever, and I was getting dehydrated and all that. So I got a nurse to hydrate me. I was sitting there in my house, and I was gone. Like that. I had no pulse. Within minutes, they were there – the ambulance in front of my house.

The Heat actor further revealed that he did not see any white light or anything. He further quoted Hamlet, where Shakespeare wrote “To be or not to be” to explain the philosophy of death.

The celebrity also shared that his work over the past 50 years was like a solace at such a crucial moment, and that his children were right before his eyes.
