Andrew Garfield is impressed by the horse carousel memes, and plans to make a three-part documentary on it for his upcoming film, We Live in Time. While speaking with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show, the actor discussed the idea of creating and sharing memes.
The actor is set to star opposite Florence Pugh in a new romance film hitting the theaters soon. During Garfield’s appearance on the talk show, a promo featuring the co-stars appeared on screen and later went viral on the Internet.
As the audience started laughing after seeing the poster, the Spider-Man actor revealed that it was a result of Doom Scrolling. Elaborating further on the memes, Garfield claimed, “I see this image, and I think, ‘Maybe I’m the only one who’ll notice this crazy horse.'” He further told Colbert, “‘ It seems like we are.” In a way, I’m probably being overly sensitive.” No one else will see it.
Furthermore, the actor claimed that once he was out of the retreat and he turned on his phone, and the first thing that came up was all the memes, which made him laugh uncontrollably.
