Director Anubhav Sinha addressed the controversy surrounding his Netflix series, IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack. While the series received appreciation from a section of the audience, it also faced Criticism in the name of terrorists And their portrayal. Sinha said he was confused about the show’s reception.

When asked if he held himself responsible for the negativity surrounding the show, Sinha replied humbly. “No, I don’t take myself that seriously. I just want to do my work with full honesty and hard work. I wouldn’t have taken it if I didn’t love the story. I liked it, so I did it,” he said.

Anubhav Sinha admitted that the outcome of any show or film is not completely in his hands. “All that’s left is hard work, and the rest is up to the universe. The universe is both destructive and creative,” he said.
