Shahrukh Khan fans are excited to see the star hosting the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) in Abu Dhabi this year. IIFA is set to celebrate its 24th edition from September 27 to September 29. Shah Rukh Khan flew to Yas Island, Abu Dhabi on Thursday morning and was given a special welcome at his hotel, Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island. What was special about this reception? All things delicious and unique! IIFA shared pictures of SRK’s room on its official Instagram handle.
The room was filled with delicious sweets and delicious dishes customized for SRK. The caption on the post reads, “Sneak peek into Shahrukh Khan’s room.” The carousel features a giant photo cake with pictures from Shahrukh’s films – Raees, Pathan, Ra-One, Zero, Donkey and Don 2. The cake is surrounded by edible ‘movie reels’ and lots of macarons in different flavors and colors.

Another photo focuses on a tray filled with delicious sweets along with golden video cameras, movie reels and a poster of Shah Rukh Khan. Beneath all these exquisite views, text read, “Welcome to Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island.”
He also placed a tray filled with bowls containing a mixture of blackberries, a mixture of dry fruits, a mixture of dates and dry fruits. One can also spot a charcuterie board filled with cheese sticks, nuts, dried fruits, fresh strawberries and more luxury desserts.
Finally, the last photo showed a counter full of delicious snacks – Lindt chocolate, Kettle Black Truffle Potato Chips, Trail Mix, Ferrero Rocher Milk Chocolate and many other items. He also kept glass bottles of mineral water.
