Actress Mahima Chaudhary, who has been away from the glitz and glamor world for quite some time, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022 and was successfully treated. Recently, TV star Hina Khan was also diagnosed with breast cancer. Hina, who rose to fame with the television shows Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Bigg Boss 11, is getting a lot of love from her fans for her strong and positive outlook towards life. In a recent conversation with India Today Digital, Mahima shared that she was one of the first few people Hina called after her diagnosis.

Mahima said, “Hina was the first one to call me after she was diagnosed with cancer. I loved that he remembered me at such an important time in his life. She was considering going to America for her treatment, but I told her that we have everything available in India and she can get her treatment here.

“I convinced Hina to get treatment in India because let me tell you that even in America, only Indian doctors will treat her. After all, it is the same medicine, the same doctor and the same treatment, and all this is now available to us in India. Then why leave the country, the comfort of your family and friends and go somewhere else?” the actor added.

On the work front, Mahima is awaiting the release of Signature, which will premiere on ZEE5.
