Superstar Kamal Haasan has always kept his fans excited with every project he does. Currently, the actor is awaiting the release of his next film Thug Life directed by Mani Ratnam. The project was in the pipeline for quite some time now and recently the makers announced that they have wrapped up the shooting of the film.
The makers of Thug Life have released a video on X (formerly Twitter), which is a collection of several moments from the entire shoot of the film. From panoramic shots to important dialogues and distant locations, the clip includes several keyframes from behind the scenes of the film.
At the end of it, the entire cast including Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan TR and filmmaker Mani Ratnam himself came together for a picture. In one of the frames, the Vikram actor can also be seen congratulating his director on the completion of the project’s schedule.

The makers also penned a note informing that the film is now one step closer to its release, leaving fans ready to witness its grandeur on the silver screen. “Shooting completed #ThugLife entering the next phase,” the caption read.
A few days ago, a photo of Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam and Silambarasan TR from the wrap-up party of Thug Life went viral on social media. The actors along with their filmmaker looked happy as they enjoyed the fruits of their hard work upon successfully completing the shooting of their film.
While there has been no official announcement regarding the film’s release date, a previous report by Deccan Herald shed light on the film’s alleged OTT release plans. If the report is to be believed, Thug Life has apparently been bought by OTT platform Netflix. The deal has reportedly been struck for a whopping sum of Rs 149.7 crore.
With this, Thug Life has outperformed several other OTT-backed projects that had signed less expensive deals with Netflix.
