Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan started the year 2024 by marrying her longtime boyfriend Nupur Shikhare. The couple often shares glimpses of their married life on social media. Nupur recently posted an appreciation post for her ‘hum-safar’ after he finished a triathlon. She expressed her love for him and set major couple goals.
Today, on September 17, 2024, Nupur Shikhare shared a series of pictures with her wife Ira Khan on Instagram. The first slide was a selfie of the couple which they took at the venue of a triathlon. In another unique selfie, they are seen enjoying their beverages.
One picture was taken at night, while the other was a mirror selfie inside a lift. In the last slide, they were in the middle of their delicious meal.
In the caption, Nupur called Ira “my hum-safar”. Expressing his love for triathlon and his feelings for his wife, he further added, “Triathlon is a very demanding sport.. physically, mentally, emotionally and more. I do it because I love the sport, but you, @khan.ira, do it because you love me.. I want you to know that I love you so much. You are amazing. Thank you for everything. #love.”

Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare registered their marriage on January 3, 2024. After their official nuptials, they celebrated with their friends and families in Udaipur. The beautiful city witnessed several festivities including mehndi, sangeet and a white wedding ceremony. A grand reception was later held in Mumbai which was attended by several Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Salman Khan, Rekha, Juhi Chawla, Jaya Bachchan, Isha Deol, Hema Malini, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and others.
