Google’s Search to Circle feature is a visual-search tool that allows users to search for anything by simply circling it. This feature is powered by artificial intelligence and helps in searching the web faster. Currently, this feature is only available on Samsung and Pixel phones, but that is going to change soon.

Leaker @MishaalRahman posted on X that Google plans to expand the feature to “more Android phones next month, ending the feature’s exclusivity for Pixel and Samsung phones.”

He said that apparently, reviewers of the TECNO Phantom V Fold 2 have found that the device supports Circle to Search. There was not much information about this, but if this feature comes to more Android devices, can we say that sooner or later this feature will also come to iPhones?

Although Google hasn’t made any official announcement, this reliable hint suggests that Android users with devices from OnePlus, Oppo, Xiaomi, Motorola, and other brands won’t have to wait too long to get the Circle to Search feature.

Circle to Search is a user-friendly interface for Google Lens, enabling visual searches based on images directly from your phone’s screen. The feature allows you to capture and search for information on any object, person or item displayed on your device, from furniture to flora, and receive relevant results including shopping options for a seamless and intuitive experience.

The Circle to Search feature offers flexible interaction methods, allowing users to initiate a visual search by circling, scribbling, or simply tapping on an object on their screen. Additionally, this tool can attempt to automatically identify the desired object with a single tap. To access this feature, users can activate it by long-pressing on the home button or the bottom navigation bar, which provides a convenient and intuitive experience.

Google’s recent update to this feature, which added music recognition capabilities, reflects the company’s investment in the development and evolution of this tool. By enabling users to identify music playing in their surroundings or on their device, Google shows its commitment to improving Circle to Search and expanding its availability to more devices.
