It has been two days since Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora’s father Anil Mehta died outside his building in Bandra. The Arora family, who are going through a tough time, are yet to come to terms with his demise. A day after his sudden demise, Malaika and Amrita dealt with the tragedy and attended their late father’s funeral. Malaika’s ex-husband, actor-producer Arbaaz Khan was among the first people to reach her parents’ house after Mehta’s demise. On Friday (September 13), Arbaaz attended Malaika’s late father’s prayer meet to offer his condolences.
In a video posted on Instagram, Arbaaz Khan can be seen visiting Malaika Arora’s mother’s house for a prayer meeting at night. The clip shows Arbaaz getting out of the car and entering Malaika’s building amid rain in Bandra.

Netizens dropped in their reactions in the comments section. Some praised Arbaaz for supporting his ex-wife during her difficult time after her father’s demise. “It’s nice to see an ex-husband supporting his ex-wife in a crisis,” wrote an Instagram user.

Let us tell you that Arbaaz Khan was among the first to reach Malaika Arora’s mother’s house when he got the sad news of the demise of her father Anil Mehta on September 11, 2024. Arbaaz and his entire family paid their last respects to Malaika’s late father on Wednesday. A day later, Salman Khan arrived at Malaika’s mother’s apartment in Bandra to offer his heartfelt condolences.
Arbaaz and Malaika’s son Arhaan Khan stood by them in the grief of his grandfather’s demise. Arhaan has recently been visiting the building two days after his grandfather’s demise. Sohail Khan, Seema Sajdeh, Salim Khan, Helen, Alvira Agnihotri, Ayan Agnihotri and Alizeh Agnihotri also offered their condolences. Arbaaz’s second wife Shoora Khan was also seen there.
Apart from them, Malaika Arora’s best friends Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor are also supporting her in this difficult time. It is reported that Kareena has postponed her work commitments after this tragedy. Malaika’s ex-boyfriend actor Arjun Kapoor also went to her mother’s house and safely escorted the actress to her car.
