For many students, staying in hostels is an essential part of their education journey. While hostels offer a sense of community and independence, one aspect that often falls short is the food. Hostel food is notorious for being tasteless and monotonous. The typical hostel menu often consists of watery dal, hard rotis and sabzi, which have definitely seen better days. However, two resourceful students have come up with a creative solution. In a viral Instagram video, the duo showed off their clever trick: using Maggi noodles as a substitute for sabzi. In the video, they are seen tearing a piece of roti and mixing it with Maggi noodles. One of them said, “When the hostel sabzi isn’t good, use Maggi as a sabzi.” “Best combo,” she added enthusiastically. The caption read, “Try it and let us know.” Watch the video here:

After watching the video, people started sharing their reactions in the comments section. One user commented, “I tried this a year ago, it tastes really good.” Another suggested that adding “extra chilli and masala” to Maggi would make it a better vegetable option. One comment read, “Finally I found someone like me.” Another user shared, “For years, I always use this [this combo] Whenever I eat fast food occasionally. I always eat it with roti. Try samosa with roti. Vada pav with roti. Puff with roti and many more.” “I have tried it, whenever I feel hungry I eat it,” wrote one comment.

Meanwhile, a user wrote, “Maggi is used in every way except the way it should be used.” Many agreed, adding, “Eat Maggi the way it is meant to be. You will definitely like it.” Earlier, a viral video on the Internet had shocked people, in which a woman was seen adding Maggi noodles to golgappas. Many disliked the video, saying it spoils both the dishes. Some even jokingly demanded the person to be “arrested” for spoiling the original taste of golgappas. Read the full news here.
