After teasing fans with a glimpse of the first song Manasilayo from Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Vettaiyaan, the makers have finally released the full track today, September 9. Composed by Anirudh Ravichander, the upbeat dance number features the AI ​​voice of late Indian playback singer Malaysia Vasudevan.

Manasilayo is a lively dance number that features Rajinikanth, Manju Warrier and Anirudh Ravichander dancing ecstatically. Set against a festive backdrop, the song’s title, Manasilayo, is taken from Rajinikanth’s iconic dialogue in his previous blockbuster, Jailer.

The song features the voice of late singer Malaysia Vasudevan, marking the first time in 27 years that a singer’s voice will be used in a Rajinikanth film. Manasilayo is sung by Yugendran Vasudevan, Anirudh Ravichande and Deepthi Suresh.

According to reports, Vettaiyaan is a strong action entertainer based on a true incident. It is being said that the actor will play the role of a Muslim police officer in this film.

Directed by TJ Gnanavel, Vettaiyaan stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh and Dushara Vijayan among others. Lyca Productions is backing the project. The music score will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film will hit the theatres on October 10.
