Veteran actors Himani Shivpuri and Alok Nath have worked together in several films including Hum Aapke Hain Koun! Recently, while speaking to Siddharth Kannan, Shivpuri indirectly spoke about whether there is any truth in the serious allegations made against Alok by several women in the last few years. She also recalled an incident when she was once deboarded from a flight due to her behaviour.
Himani Shivpuri revealed that once when she was travelling with Alok Nath for an award show outside India, he had consumed too much alcohol. “He was drunk and lost his balance, and his wife kept telling him to calm down. I also told him to control himself or else he would be deboarded from the flight. He has been deboarded from a flight once before because of his behaviour,” Himani said.
The Happu Ki Ultan Paltan actress said Nath had a ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ personality and added that over the years of working with him, he has been good as long as he stayed away from alcohol. “The thing with him is that when he doesn’t drink, he is very cultured. That’s how his personality was,” Himani asserted.

The actress briefly hinted at an incident that happened with her and said, “I never had any problem with him except one incident that happened in National School of Drama (NSD). But, I used to hear from people that after a few drinks he became a different person.” Alok Nath, who has a cultured image on screen, was accused of sexual harassment by actresses like Vinta Nanda, Navneet Nishan, Deepika Amin and Sandhya Mridul.
At the time, the 68-year-old had exclusively addressed Vinta Nanda’s allegations, telling ABP that he would ‘neither deny nor agree with the serious allegations made by the veteran writer-producer. “It (r***) must have happened, but someone else must have done it. Well, I don’t want to talk much about it because if the matter has come out, it will be blown out of proportion.”
Alok Nath is still less popular and no longer does projects consistently. He was last seen in the 2019 film De De Pyar De.
