Need some fitness inspiration? Head straight to Alaya Furniturewalla’s Instagram feed. Recently, the actress gave her fans a glimpse of her wellness session and as always, the actress impressed us. Dressed in all-black athleisure, she began her exercise by doing an effortless headstand. Next, Alaya rolled backwards halfway before coming back down to her knees with the support of her hands. She didn’t stop there. She did a stunning squat before jumping onto a gym ball. She not only lands perfect but also balances herself on the ball. Her winning smile says it all. “I was so surprised that I got this combo in my very first attempt that I started laughing as soon as I landed the ball. There are some days when there are no failures,” she captioned while tagging her fitness coach. Gym ball workouts help build core stability, improve posture, flexibility, balance, increase back and spinal strength, and aid rapid weight loss.

Alaya has mastered the art of gym ball exercises. Earlier, she added an element of challenge to her physical training by jumping from one ball to another. Note: without tumbling. Sharing a video of her tough feat on Instagram, she wrote, “After many physically and mentally challenging sessions and countless falls and fails, ball to ball jumping has been unlocked… Please do not try this at home. I have trained a lot to be able to do this and I have done it in a guided and safe environment with Sunpreet Singh. If it is done incorrectly and without proper protection you can get injured very badly.”

Earlier, the actress did 10 squats on a gym ball, making it look extremely easy. Squats strengthen the lower body muscles like calves, hamstrings and quadriceps, increase flexibility, reduce the risk of injuries and improve mobility around the hips, knees and ankle joints.
