NEW DELHI: Some stocks were down more than 5 percent in Mumbai trading, even as the equity benchmark BSE Sensex fell 151.48 points to trade at 82,201.16 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Earthstahl & Alloy (down 18.58 percent), HB Estate Dev (9.99 percent), Shivansh Finserv (9.98 percent), India Lease Dev (down 9.96 percent) and Navodaya Enterprises (down 9.91 percent) were among the top losers in today’s trade on the BSE.
In the Nifty pack, 18 stocks closed in the green, while 32 stocks closed in the red.
The index fell by 53.61 points to close at 25145.1.
On the BSE, Mahalakshmi Fabric Mill, Global Textile, South Asian Anti, Rajneesh Wellness and Creon Financial touched their new 52-week lows, while Arihant Sec, Terai Tea Company, Premier Energy, Nectar Lifesk and Alpa Labs touched their new 52-week lows. . High in today’s trade.
